Phoenix Houseplant Sitting & Care

Over the past five years, I’ve cultivated my love for plants into a fulfilling practice that expands beyond my backyard and into my home. I now care for over 65 plant varieties, blending generational knowledge with hands-on experience. For me, this is about more than just growing greenery—it’s about intentionally creating spaces that nurture resilience, foster connection to the earth, and honor the care passed down through those who came before me.

Meet Sarah Potter

Botanical care is in my blood. In the early 1920s, my great grandmother Elsie worked the farms with her family in Sweden. Upon immigrating to the US, she continued cultivating plant life in her local area of Michigan, sharing that knowledge and expertise with my grandfather Ray, who then passed this knowledge onto me. Over the past five years, I have expanded my love for cultivating plant life in Arizona. Caring for over 65 different varieties of plants, I bring generational love and care to every single plant I work with.
Throughout my years, I have tended to an array of plants, understanding the needs of resilient pothos to the sensitivities of finicky orchids. I’ve also faced the challenges of reviving plants under stress through creating environments where they can re-establish their strength. Each experience has deepened my understanding of what plants require and how they respond, helping me hone a sensitive and attuned approach to plant care.
